Wondering who we are?

Hello Gardener is a single focused artist development label based in Australia. We work to grow the careers of gifted artists that we love and aid them in creating meaningful music while simultaneously growing a core lasting fan base.

Our first signing

Betty Taylor is a four-piece indie, pop, and dreamy guitar band hailing from Queensland's Sunshine Coast. The band consists of Sophie Patrick, whose indie hooks and poignant lyrics are beautifully complemented by Kayla Smart's (AKA Dorah Jacson) wistful guitar riffs and harmonies. The perfect balance of power and charm is provided by Clare Chittick on bass and Katie Ishaque on drums.

Despite having played fewer than 20 shows in their career, Betty Taylor has already achieved several milestones. They officially signed with Hello Gardener in September 2022 for the release of their debut single "Stallin'," which has since been featured on Home and Hosed on Triple J and picked up by over 30 key indie blogs and music websites. The song has been added to hundreds of playlists on both Spotify and Apple and was even a feature song on TikTok, where it has received over 100,000 streams.

Their second single "Glitter" premiered on Good Nights on Triple J and was added to rotation. It was also featured on "New Music" with Richard Kingsmill and Home and Hosed, resulting in the band becoming the unearthed feature artist for a week and securing a spot at Groovin the Moo festival. The band has also performed live on "Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield" and played two songs live for her show "Aussie Made," which reached close to 2 million viewers/listeners. "Glitter" has received over 40 placements on major blogs and music websites.

We are thrilled to announce that we have signed Betty Taylor as a management artist, and they have also joined the impressive roster at WME, one of the biggest agencies in the world.y.
